Zagar farm house is located in the village Damelj, in the heart of Kolpa Regional Park, just 1.5 km from the southernmost point of Slovenia. Just 100 meters from the farm is peaceful and warm river Kolpa. Hosts can welcome up to 50 people in their restourant. They offer three threebeded rooms of the highest category (air conditioning, TV, mini kitchen, bathroom ...), home cooking, hunting, fishing, rafting boat rental, swimming in the Kolpa, hiking trails, farm animals, children's play props, ... It is desirable that you call the owners before you go there.

Janez Mihael Zagar was born on this farm in 1732. He was a doctor, veterinary officer, naturalist, scientist, epidemiologist and author of medical books, who got a noble title from Empress Maria Theresia.
