The Lenar Tourist Farm lies at the heart of Logarska valley, which is known as one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in the world. Flat-bottomed valley is surrounded by high mountains of Kamnik – Savinja Alps, which best represent the eastern part of the European Alpine territory. The Logarska valley gained the status of a Nature Park in 1987 due to its "outstanding cultural landscape and the level od nature's conservation". The valley itself is the most visited part of the Solcava district, which received a prestigious award, namely "European Destination of Excellence" in 2009.
The location of the Lenar Tourist Farm provides an exceptional starting point for hiking, climbing in the surrounding mountains, as well as, hiking, jogging and cycling around the Logarska valley. In the winter time, we provide a cross country skiing trail and sledding (by night). The ski lift is just 1 km away. The nearby Tourist Information Centre provides our guests with intricate information on the characteristics of area, tourist facilities and any equipment for rental to be able to pursue active recreation in the natural environment. The two housing facilities pertaining to the farm have been thoroughly renovated following the architectural heritage and traditions of the area in 2010. Accommodation is available in the Upper House (4 rooms and 1 apartment) and Jerca House (2 rooms and 2 apartments). Accommodation facilities provide accommodation for 21 people not counting the extra beds. The farm guests can also make use of three common rooms, one of which has 22 seats available and a bread oven. The room is suitable for meetings and organizing seminars. The rooms and apartements all have balconies or terraces, bathrooms, tv sets and Internet access.
The Lenar Tourist Farm offer the following basic services: bed, bed and breakfast, apartments rental, facility rental for larger groups to use for meetings or organization of seminars, sleeping in the hay barn and horse riding. The tourist farm has gained a status of an ecological farm by offering home-made products of fruit and berries. Dairy and meat products for breakfast are delivered from nearby ecological farms. Buffet breakfasts are quite generous and tailored to the wishes of guests.
If requested, we also deliver food from surrounding farms or shops for the users of apartments. There is also the possibility to order main meals in the three nearby hotels and restaurants, with KH Ojstica only 100 meters away
